Welcome to my hosted blog page. I have a Facebook page for sharing tidbits but I try not to impose the ramblings of artistic soul in lengthy ramblings. So if you found this page then you are TRULY seeking out my ramblings.
This is the first post of what I hope to be documentation of my continuing journey as an artist as work with my mediums to create various types of art projects. My main focus will be to display the works in development of sculptures and some 3D digital environments.
You have to find out what it is that makes you happy and find a way to do it more often. It is an interesting rush not quite knowing what the end result will be but taking your best stab at it anyway. To start of with only a vague idea in mind and then progress on to create something that resembles an ascetically pleasing form is a sense of accomplishment. I like working with the concrete because the idea is immediate and fleeting, you only have a limited window of time to freely work with the material before the medium requires grinding to modify the form. The immediacy of the medium forces you to explore a raw idea and refine it rather quickly.
